Armenia joined the Eurasian Economic Union January 1, 2015

Armenia became a full member of the Union (consisting of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) on 1 January 2015.

Treaty of Accession of Armenia to the Treaty establishing the Eurasian Economic Union was signed in Minsk on 10 October 2014.

From the date of entry into force Armenia became a member of the Eurasian Economic Union and takes on obligations under the contract. The bill allows Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union to create conditions for the development of economic integration in order to improve the living standard of the population.
